Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Diabetes Melitus, Self Management Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan tingginya kadar glukosa darah sebagai akibat dari kekurangan sekresi insulin, gangguan aktivitas insulin atau keduanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan self management dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien DM tipe 2. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah analitik cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 75 orang yang dilakukan di Rumkital DR. Ramelan Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan (r = 0.619; p < 0.01), self management (r = 0.685; p < 0.01) dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien DM tipe 2. Hasil multivariat menunjukkan bahwa nilai HbA1c merupakan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan self management dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien DM tipe 2. Perawat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien dengan memberikan edukasi yang berfokus pada peningkatan self management dan memfasilitasi pemberian dukungan keluarga serta supervisi dan monitoring terkait self management yang dilakukan pasien DM tipe 2.Referensi
