Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 mengakibatkan tindakan yang belum pernah terjadi, untuk meminimalkan risiko penularan COVID-19 kepada pasien dan staf, departemen radiologi harus memastikan keselamatan anggotanya. Untuk mengidentifikasi keselamatan Radiografer dalam pemeriksaan Radiologi di ruang Isolasi pasien COVID-19. Literature review dan observasi langsung prosedur kerja Radiografer. Observasi dilakukan pada tanggal 2 Agustus 2021. Pendalaman materi dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada Radiografer yang bertugas di instalasi Radiologi Isolasi khusus COVID-19 di RSPP. Tinjauan ini memberikan gambaran global tentang pandemic berdampak pada praktik radiografi klinis di berbagai pengaturan ketersediaan sumber daya yang bervariasi. Ada perubahan signifikan pada praktik klinis, pola kerja dan peningkatan beban kerja karena lonjakan COVID-19. Perubahan dan ketakutan pribadi terhadap virus ini berkontribusi pada kecemasan dan stres terkait tempat kerja selama pandemi menjadi tantangan dan dinamika tersendiri. Evaluasi dan perbaharuan standar darurat untuk treatmen pasien covid 19 harus dilakukan. Pembuatan protokol khusus terhadap perlakuan pemeriksaan pasien COVID-19 pada akhirnya mampu menciptakan algoritma yang lebih mudah untuk diikuti dalam keadaan mendesak dan darurat. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa wabah pandemi covid 19 memaksa radiologi untuk melakukan perubahan yang dinamis.
