Abstract

Introduction; The Indonesian Ministry of Health developed balanced nutrition messaging, which are meant to enable everyone to have a healthy life, lower rates of morbidity, and encourage people to eat in accordance with a balanced diet. The purposee; The purpose of this study is to ascertain how teaching about balanced nutrition using media from the snakes and ladders game affects students' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior at Lawe Desky State Elementary School in Southeast Aceh Regency. Method; A single group pretest-posttest design is employed in this quasi-experimental research approach. Quota sampling was the method utilized in the sampling, and the sample size was 28 total students. The normalcy test was used to assess the data. Since knowledge variables have a normal distribution, the Paired Sample t-test is appropriate for them, but the Wilcoxon test is recommended for action and attitude variables due to their non-normal distribution. The results; The results show an average Pre-Test score of knowledge of 50.14%, while the Post-Test is 71.64%. The average Pre-Test score of attitude is 65.71%, and Post-Test is 83.25%. For action, the Pre-Test score is 71.00%, and Post-Test is 85.00%. The conclusion; All p-values <0.000 indicate that there is a significant influence of education on students' knowledge, attitudes, and actions. Some ideas for making learning more engaging for pupils and improving the reception and comprehension of the teacher's lessons included allowing schools to include different game media as new forms of entertainment into the curriculum.
